We are hosting a New Year’s Day Run
to support local missions.
COURSE
The Stripes in Los Fresnos at the corner of 1847 and 100, south along Paredes Rd and the Hike and Bike Trail to the Hughston Insurance Agency at 46 Cove Circle, Brownsville, Texas. The length of the course is 9.5 miles. We will have a chase vehicle follow the last person of the group to pick up anyone who needs assistance during the race.
PARTICIPANTS Anyone can join! You don’t have to run, but can ride a bike instead!
FUND RAISING The race fee will be $20 per participant, the bulk of this money going to the mission and a portion towards a breakfast that will be provided at Hughston Insurance Agency at the conclusion of the run. We are asking the congregation to sponsor runners with donations that will be solely applied to the Local Missions. Participants are encouraged to spread the word of this event and invite others to race and/or donate to these missions.
Race Fees and Donations can be given to Chris or Krystin Hughston, or make a note with your regular offering that this will support the New Years Run for Missions.
